Bhai, 48-60 lakh. Is price mein kya milta hai? Kya nahi milta? Aur Sportage se compare karo toh farq kya hai?

Mein ne research ki. Owners se poocha. Reviews parhay. Specs compare kiye.

Yeh hai sach. Ganda sach. Messy sach.

The Price. Bhai, Kitne Ki Hai?

Pehle price samajh lein. Kyunke yeh Stonic ka sabse bara selling point hai.

Kia Stonic EX (2026): PKR 4,862,000 (48.62 lakh). Base variant .

Kia Stonic EX+ (2026): PKR 5,999,000 (59.99 lakh). Top variant .

Kia Sportage (2026): PKR 8,899,000 se 11,299,000 (89 lakh – 1.13 crore) .

Toh Stonic, Sportage se 40-50 lakh sasti hai. Almost half price. Yeh bara farq hai.

Is price mein aur kaunsi gaariyan aati hain?

• Suzuki Fronx: 60 lakh .
• Honda BR-V: 64 lakh (7 seater) .
• Toyota Corolla Cross: 72 lakh+ .

Toh Stonic cheapest crossover hai Pakistan mein. Almost. Is price mein nai gaari chahiye, crossover chahiye, brand Kia chahiye? Stonic hi option hai .

The Engine. Bhai, 99 Horsepower ka Masla.

Yeh wala part hai jiski wajah se log “underpowered” kehte hain.

Engine: 1.4L MPI Petrol. 4-cylinder. 1368 cc .

Power: 99 hp @ 6000 RPM .

Torque: 133 Nm @ 4000 RPM .

Transmission: 6-speed automatic .

99 horsepower. Bhai, Sportage 155 hai . H6 150+ hai. Civic 120+ hai. City 118 hai.

99. Is price mein yeh average hai. Suzuki Fronx bhi 90-100 ke aas paas hai. Toh Stonic akela nahi hai. Lekin log expect karte hain crossover mein zyada power.

Real world performance. Gari.PK expert ne bataya  :

“Performance can feel modest in certain situations. Uphill driving or overtaking on highways especially when vehicle is fully loaded or with AC on tends to expose its limitations. Some owners report lag or delay in response from 0 kph or after long idling.”

Another expert: “Initial pick-up in first gear is not very sharp. Drivers have to raise engine revs more than they might in a more powerful car to get decent acceleration” .

Toh city mein? Theek hai. Light to light? Chal jati hai. Lekin Murree? Nathia? Northern areas? Fully loaded? AC on? Bhai, struggle kare gi.

Owner review (Sarmad Sattar, 2025) : “I drove it continuously for 18 hours from Lahore to Khunjerab Pass, and the experience was extremely comfortable throughout. Fuel average around 14 km/L in city and 16-18 on highway” .

To ek owner ne long drive kiya hai. Khush hai. Toh opinion differ karte hain.

Bottom line on power: City ke liye enough hai. Highway pe overtake karte waqt plan karna pare ga. Hills pe AC band karna pare ga. Expectations low rakho. Khush rahoge .

The Space. Bhai, Choti Gaari Hai.

Stonic choti hai. Dimensions dekho :

Sportage 34 cm lambi. 10 cm chaudi. 13 cm oonchi. Boot space? 352 liters vs 885 liters. Bhai, Sportage ka boot almost double hai .

Rear seat space. Owners ne bataya :

Sarmad Sattar: “Rear seats can feel a bit cramped, but still comfortable enough for four people overall” .

Zuhair Zahid (2024): “Issue sometimes is a bit low rear foot space as the front seat rails extend till far back, which gives a feeling of cramped for 5-6 foot people” .

Muhammad Shoaib (2025): “Rear leg space is great just like other cars and quite good for 5 people on long route” .

To opinions mix hain. Chotay logon ke liye theek hai. Lambay logon ke liye? Thora tight hai.

Boot space. 352 liters . Ek review: “Trunk space is very good enough, mostly my 4 luggage easily get in” . Daily use ke liye enough. Family vacation? Four suitcases? May be tight.

The Fuel Average. Bhai, 12-16 km/l.

Yeh wala part acha hai.

City: 12 km/l .

Highway: 16 km/l .

Combined: 12-16, driving style pe depends .

Owner reports :

• Sarmad Sattar: 14 km/l city, 16-18 highway.
• Hasan Shaikh: 12-13 normal.
• Ahmed Raza: 12-14 city, 14-17 highway.
• Jawad Khan (Karachi): 12-13 city, sometimes more in low traffic.

Sportage 10 city, 12 highway deti hai . Toh Stonic ka fuel average better hai. 20-30% zyada.

Petrol 280+ ka hai. Toh farq pare ga. Monthly fuel budget mein 5,000-10,000 bachat ho gi.

The Features. Bhai, Kya Kya Hai?

Stonic EX+ mein features achi khaasi hain. PakWheels comparison se dekhte hain :

• 6 airbags. Sportage mein 2 hain . Yes. Choti Stonic mein 6 airbags. Bara safety feature hai.
• 8-inch touchscreen. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto.
• Rear camera.
• Parking sensors (front and rear). Sportage mein bhi hai.
• Keyless entry. Push start.
• Steering switches. Cruise control.
• Alloy wheels (16 inch).
• DRLs (LED). Some owners complain DRLs fail . New car mein? Quality check issue .
• Rear AC vents? Nahin hain. Sportage mein hain . Peeche baithnay walon ko garmi lage gi.
• Sunroof? Nahi.
• Ambient lighting? Nahi.

Owner review (Muhammad Shoaib, 2025): “Perfect car with advanced features in this price range. Much better than Yaris, City and other sedans as they lack modern features, durability, comfort, safety and style” .

Another (Mohammed Mujtaba, 2025): “One of the best purchases I’ve made after selling a 2017 City. Feature packed, comfort galore. Pretty good average” .

To features ke mamle mein Stonic Yaris, City se achi hai. Sportage se nahi. But price half hai. Toh expecting same features is unfair.

The Problems. Bhai, Yeh Wala Part Darawana Hai.

Stonic perfect nahi hai. Issues hain. Search results se pata chalta hai.

Issue #1: Underpowered engine. Already discuss kar liya. City mein fine hai. Highway pe? Overtaking? Hills? Struggle .

Issue #2: Expensive replacement parts. Bhai, yeh sun lo.

Gari.PK expert ne bataya: “A damaged side mirror can cost around PKR 73,000 at an official dealership, which many find exorbitant” .

73,000 rupees. Side mirror. Ek. Side mirror. Bhai, is price mein used Alto aa jati hai.

Kyun? Kyunke parts imported hain. Local manufacturing nahi. Dealership monopoly hai. Toh woh price decide karte hain.

Kya karte hain owners? “Some owners seek alternatives, such as visiting local mechanics or exploring second-hand parts markets” .

Toh agar aap Stonic le rahe ho, bachna. Part toot gaya toh wallet roye ga.

Issue #3: Rust and paint quality.

Expert batata hai: “Some owners noticed rust appearing in areas like door seals even at quite low mileages e.g., ~1,500 km in one report” .

1,500 km. Nai gaari. Door seals pe rust. Bhai, Kia ka quality control? Question mark.

Same expert: “Issues with paint quality. These are more cosmetic/long-term durability issues, but can affect sealing, noise, and possibly the integrity of doors against weather” .

Issue #4: Parts availability. Expert warns: “Limited availability of replacement parts, especially outside major cities. This can make repairs slow and sometimes expensive because parts must be ordered” .

Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad mein theek hai. Baqi cities mein? Parts mangwane pare gay. Time lage ga. Car workshop mein padi rahe gi.

Issue #5: DRL failure. Owner (mraheel, 2025): “Just 2 DRL’s out of 4 not working in brand new, seems like quality check issue” .

Brand new car. DRLs fail. Kia needs to improve quality control.

Issue #6: Rear seat space. Already cover kar liya. Lambay logon ke liye tight hai .

The Resale Value. Kya Hoga?

Yeh wala part important hai. PakWheels blog ke mutabiq :

Resale confidence for Stonic: “Medium” .

Compare karo:

• Toyota Fortuner: Strong .
• Kia Sportage: Medium to strong .
• Haval H6: Developing .
• Kia Stonic: Medium .

Medium hai. Acchi hai. Buri nahi hai. Toyota jaisi nahi. Lekin bech sakte ho. Time lage ga. Price negotiate karna pare ga.

Kyun? Kyunke Stonic nai gaari hai. 2021-2022 mein aayi. Abhi 4-5 saal hain. Market mein recognition bana raha hai. Log jaantay hain “Kia ki choti crossover.” Lekin “best” nahi samajhte.

How It Compares to Rivals.

Stonic vs Sportage (same brand).

Sportage bigger, more powerful, more space, better resale. But price almost double. Stonic cheaper, fuel average better, easier to park .

Stonic vs Suzuki Fronx.

Fronx 60 lakh. Similar power. Similar size. Similar segment. Fronx naya hai. Reliability? Unknown. Resale? Unknown. Stonic has Kia brand trust. Thora .

Stonic vs Honda BR-V.

BR-V 64 lakh. 7 seater. More practical for families. But older design. Feels dated. Stonic newer, more stylish. But smaller .

Stonic vs Toyota Corolla Cross.

Corolla Cross 72 lakh+. Hybrid hai. Fuel average 18-20. Resale strong. Toyota reliability. But price 15-20 lakh zyada. Toh comparison unfair .

The Verdict. Failed to Impress the Masses? Kyun?

Bhai, Stonic achi gaari hai. City ke liye. Choti family ke liye. Budget crossover chahiye? Ye lo.

Lekin masses impress nahi hue. Kyunke:

1. Underpowered engine (99 hp). Log expect karte hain crossover mein zyada power. Stonic mein nahi hai .
2. Expensive parts. Side mirror 73,000. Bhai, dar lagta hai .
3. Small space. Rear seat cramped. Boot chota. Family walay nahi le rahe .
4. Quality concerns. Rust at 1,500 km. DRLs failing. Paint issues .
5. No rear AC vents. Pakistan mein garmi hai. Peeche baithnay walon ko takleef ho gi .
6. Resale medium. Log Sportage le rahe hain. Resale strong hai. Stonic bechna hai? Thora time lage ga.

Buy Stonic if:

• Budget 50-60 lakh hai, new crossover chahiye
• City driving hai, daily commute
• Choti family hai (2 adults, 2 kids)
• Fuel average matter karta hai (12-16 km/l)
• Easy parking chahiye (small size)
• You understand engine limitations and parts cost

Don’t buy Stonic if:

• Family hai, bache hain, parents hain (space chahiye)
• Highway driving, long trips, northern areas (struggle kare gi)
• Parts cost ka dar hai (mirror 73k)
• Resale value top priority hai
• Rear AC vents chahiye
• You expect Sportage-like experience in half price

My honest driver opinion.

Bhai, Kia Stonic is a good car. For the right buyer. City dweller. Small family. Budget conscious. First-time crossover buyer.

But masses failed to impress because masses want space, power, resale. Stonic compromises on all three.

Ek owner ne kaha: “Excellent car, its drive style and comfort is up to the mark. Totally satisfied” .

Dusre ne kaha: “Rear seats feel cramped. 5-6 foot people ko problem hai” .

Dono sahi hain. Depends on your needs.

Agar aap ki family choti hai, daily city driving hai, budget 50-60 lakh hai, expectations realistic hain? Stonic le lo. Maaza ayega. Fuel bachay ga. Park karna easy hai.

Agar aap ki family bari hai, long trips karte ho, resale matter karti hai, parts cost ka dar hai? Sportage lo. Zyada do gay. Lekin sukoon mile ga.

Aur agar aap Stonic le rahe ho? Side mirror sambhal ke rakhna. 73,000 ka hai.

Bookmark this page. Jab Stonic dekhne jao, test drive karo. Hills pe chala ke dekho. AC on karo. Fully loaded condition mein try karo. Rear seat mein baith ke dekho. Parts price list maango. Phir faisla karo.
