Where to Get Documents Printed Cheap in Islamabad (Late Night Shops That Actually Stay Open)

Look bhai. You know the scene. It’s 10 PM, 11 PM, maybe 1 AM. Your assignment is due tomorrow. Or your passport photocopies for that visa application. Or your client needs signed documents by morning. And you realize… you have nothing printed. Nothing scanned. Nothing.

And every shop you pass? Closed. Lights off. Shutters down.

So you panic. I have seen passengers panic. I have picked them up from their homes at midnight, taken them on a wild goose chase across Islamabad looking for an open print shop. Some find. Some don’t. Some cry in my back seat. (Okay, not cry. But close.)

So I asked around. I drove around. I found the ones that stay open when others don’t. This is not a complete list. Prices change. Hours change. But these are the shops that passengers told me about, that I have seen with my own eyes, that actually pick up the phone at weird hours.

(Chalo disclaimer pehle: Bhai, main driver hoon. Print shop ka malik nahi. Yeh sab passengers ne bataya, main ne khud dekha, aur Google pe bhi confirm kiya. Hours change ho sakte hain. Bandar road pe rain ho toh band ho sakta hai. Call karo pehle. Warna raat ko phir se mere saath rote rahoge.)

So. Here we go.

Madina Printers Islamabad. G-9/H-9 area

You want the real hero of this story? Madina Printers. Yaar, yeh log pagal hain. Achi tarah se pagal.

Their hours? Open 24 hours. Monday to Sunday. All week. All night.

Address: P-No-13-A-Flat Sector G-9, H 9/4 H-9, Islamabad

Phone: +92 344 9240549

I dropped a passenger there once. 1:30 AM. He needed 200 pages printed for a thesis submission. He was sweating. I said “bhai, yeh band ho ga.” He said “nahi, 24/7 hai.”

I waited outside. 20 minutes later, he came out with a stack of papers. Printed. Bound. Ready.

He said “Mohsin bhai, yeh log ne meri jaan bachai.”

I said “kitne liye?”

He said “2 rupees per page. Normal rate. Raat ka extra nahi liya.”

So. Madina Printers. First on your list. Save the number. Bookmark the address.

E-TECH, Blue Area

Another solid option. Blue Area mein hai. Fazal-e-Haq Road pe. Potohar Plaza, Office #2-A, Ground Floor.

Now listen carefully. Their normal hours are 9 AM to 8 PM. Monday to Thursday, Saturday, Sunday. But Friday? Friday they are open 24 hours.

Why Friday? I don’t know. Maybe因为他们喜欢星期五。But that’s what the listing says. So if you need printing on a Friday night… or early Friday morning… this is your spot.

I have not personally dropped anyone here at 3 AM. But a passenger told me he went there on a Friday at midnight. Got his documents printed. No problem.

Phone: +92 51 2828333

Printing Press.Info, Blue Area

Also in Blue Area. Office #8, Benazir Plaza, Jinnah Avenue.

This one is good for more than just basic printing. Offset printing, digital printing, t-shirts, mugs, wedding cards, uniforms.  But bhai, if you need wedding cards at 11 PM, you have bigger problems.

Not sure about 24/7 hours. But their contact is there. Call them. Ask. +92 317-8555222

Usman’s, Bahria Phase 7

Okay, this is not Islamabad proper. Bahria Expressway, Phase 7.  But if you live on that side, useful.

Hours: 10 AM to 10 PM. Daily.  Not 24/7, but 10 PM is better than 8 PM. Many shops close at 8.

They do printing. Photocopy. Binding probably.

Address: Ground Floor, 35 Al-Sheikh Plaza, Bahria Expressway, Near Juice Land/Punjab Bank

Afzal Mobiles Photostudio & Printing Services, Jinnah Garden

This one is interesting. They do printing, but also photos, phone accessories, internet shop, mobile money agent.  So if you need printing and also need to send money to someone and also need a phone charger… one stop shop.

Hours: 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM. Monday to Saturday. Sunday closed.

Not late night. But 8:30 PM is later than 5 PM. So useful for evening emergencies.

Address: Shop #1, AlMadina Plaza, Shaheen Commercial, Jinnah Garden

Phone: +92 322 5140954

Imperial Stationery Mart, Blue Area

This is a stationery store. They do printing, photocopy, binding, lamination.  Also sell paper, books, office supplies.

Hours: 8 AM to 8 PM. Monday to Sunday.  (Some days 9-7 but mostly 8-8)

Not super late. But early morning? 8 AM is good if you need something before work.

Address: Shop No 22-A, Hajvery Plaza, China Chowk Underpass, G-6/3 Blue Area

Phone: +92 333 5134980

Payment: Cash only. So keep cash.

AAA Enterprises, Melody Market

G-6 Markaz, Melody Market. Behind Islamabad Hotel.

Hours: 9 AM to 9 PM. Monday to Sunday. (Closed Tuesday)

9 PM is decent. If you finish work at 7, drive there, get printing done by 8:30… works.

Phone: +92 300 5286285

They do printing. Basic stuff.

Other shops (normal hours, backup options)

  • Copy & Printshop, F-7/1, Al-Naseeb Plaza.
  • Printorium Printers, G-9 Markaz, Laraib Plaza.
  • M.R Printers, Blue Area, Block I G-7/2.
  • Atiq and Sons – printing, binding, laminations, O/A Level past papers. Founded 2018. Small company.
  • Awami Traders – make x-banner display stands.  Not for documents but if you need a banner…

Tips from Passengers (Learned the Hard Way)

Tip #1: Call before you go.

Bhai. Just because a listing says “24 hours” doesn’t mean the human inside wants to stay awake. Sometimes they close early. Sometimes they open late. One passenger drove to Madina Printers at 2 AM. Locked. Owner sleeping inside? Maybe. But door was locked. So call. Save the numbers in your phone now.

Tip #2: Keep cash.

Imperial Stationery Mart is cash only . Other small shops also. Card machines? Haan, woh kya hota hai? Most shops don’t have. So keep 500-1000 rupees in your wallet. For printing 50-100 pages, you need maybe 200-300 rupees. But for binding? More.

Tip #3: Know the rates.

Normal photocopy: 1-2 rupees per page. Black and white.
Color copy: 10-20 rupees per page.
Printing from USB/email: same rate.
Binding: 50-150 rupees depending on thickness and type (spiral, thermal, etc.)

If a shop tries to charge 5 rupees for black and white copy? Walk away. Find another.

Tip #4: Bring your own USB.

Yes, you can email. Yes, you can use WhatsApp. But USB is faster. And less chance of “sorry bhai, internet slow hai.” Bring USB. Bring two.

Tip #5: For large jobs, call ahead.

If you need 500 pages printed, don’t just show up. Call. Ask if they have paper. Ask if they have toner. Ask if they have time. Otherwise you will stand there for 2 hours waiting.

Prices (What Passengers Paid)

Not gospel. Changes. But rough idea.

  • Black & white photocopy: Rs. 1-2 per page
  • Printing from USB (b&w): Rs. 2-3 per page
  • Color print: Rs. 10-20 per page
  • Spiral binding: Rs. 50-100
  • Thermal binding: Rs. 100-150
  • Scanning: Rs. 5-10 per page
  • Passport size photos: Rs. 100-200 for 4-8 copies

Emergency Late Night Checklist

Keep this in your phone. Copy it. Screenshot it.

  • 24/7. All week.
  • +92 344 9240549
  • Backup option: E-TECH (Blue Area) – Friday 24 hours

What to bring:

  • USB with files
  • Cash (500-1000 rupees)
  • Original documents if photocopy needed
  • Phone charged (to call if shop closed)

What I Think (Driver’s Honest Take)

Bhai.

Printing ki emergency is real. I have seen grown adults panic over 10 pages. I have driven people to three different sectors at midnight.

So prepare. Don’t wait until 1 AM to start looking. Save these numbers now. Keep cash in your glovebox. Keep a USB in your bag.

And if all else fails? Some hotels have business centers. Not cheap. But open 24/7. A passenger once printed at a hotel in F-7. Charged him 10 rupees per page. Expensive. But better than failing assignment.

So.
